From Seattle to Fukushima: Helping Mothers in Fukushima through Study and Activities
Songs of Hope raised donations for Mothers’ Radiation Lab Fukushima (MRLF) through our 2016 Benefit Concert.

Before the concert we held a study session to better understand issues surrounding the TEPCO nuclear power disaster, the current situation in contaminated areas, and the needs of mothers in Fukushima.
We continued our study group after the concert, received feedback from mothers in Fukushima, visited MRLF and helped launch its English fundraising campaign.

In the beginning of 2017, we established a group “From Seattle to Fukushima.” We continue to support MRLF as we spread awareness about the TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
