About the Planetarium

Since all lights will be off during the show, we do not recommend the planetarium shows for children under six years old. The planetarium can only accommodate 60 people per show, so please reserve your free will-call tickets online through Brown Paper Tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com with the search term “Japan Week @ BC.”

Ticket orders will start at 9 am on Saturday (Sept. 30) the week before the Festival. There is no wait list. If there are any last minute cancellations, we will do our best to get any non-ticket holders who arrive at the planetarium into the show on a first come, first served basis.

When you reserve your ticket, your name will be automatically entered onto the will-call list and the list will be checked when you arrive. Doors will open 15-minutes prior to the start of the show. Because the room must remain dark during the show, there is no late admission or re-entry.

If you need to cancel your reservation: When you finalize your reservations, you will receive a confirmation email. There is information in that email about how to cancel your reservations in case your plans change. We do not charge for these events, but we need your help to keep it that way; please follow the steps in the confirmation email to release your tickets if you cannot attend.
