The purpose of the Financial Code is to govern and prescribe the specific processes and procedures under which Services and Activities Fees collected by Bellevue College are allocated and expended.
The Financial Code is provided as a means of facilitating an appropriate sharing of responsibilities and decision-making opportunities among the Associated Student Government of Bellevue College Board of Directors and Bellevue College employees accountable for effective administration of Services and Activities Fees. The Financial Code prescribes the protocol for the Services and Activities Fees Allocation Committee responsible for making budgetary recommendations while respecting the proper roles of the Associated Student Government Board of Directors and the college employees accountable for effective administration of co-curricular and extracurricular student activities. The Financial Code outlines the process for requesting funding through the Associated Student Government and the Services and Activities Fee Allocation Committee.
