    • Sean Behl calls the meeting to order at 3:02.

4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

  • Sean moves to amend the agenda to reflect the correct date of the meeting, and move the excused absence from Stephanie Nehema to Isadora Silva.

  • 6. OPEN FORUM
  • There were no attendees interested in participating in the open forum.
  • 7. REPORTS:

Representatives Reports:  

  • President
    • The President has been conducting Student Senate interviews.
    • The President has also been working on revisions to the ASG governing documents including the Bylaws, and the Constitution.
    • The President has also been working to keep the team organized and assisting other Board members with their various projects, and duties.
      • Vice President  
  • The Vice President has been working on fulfilling the Amazon order for Winter quarter.
  • The Vice-President has also been working with the library and bookstore on the textbook project, making it more affordable to students.
  • The Vice-President has also been working on a job description for a new public relations position in the Athletic department.
    • Executive Justice
  • The Executive Justice has been working on our legislative agenda.
  • The Executive Justice has been working with WSA to lobby in Olympia during January and February.
  • The Executive Justice has been working on planning our own lobbying trip during January and February.
    • Treasurer
  • The Treasurer has been working with Chris, reporting ASG has $92,500 in cultural budgeting and $421,312 in general budgeting.
    • Secretary
  • The Secretary has been working on preparing and completing the Agenda and Minutes for weekly meeting and BOD meeting.
  • The Secretary has also been working on organizing the office.
  • The Secretary has also been working on the record keeping project, including the reorganization of all physical records.
    • Public Relations Rep.
  • The Public Relations Reps has been helping with conducting interviews for the Senate
  • The Public Relations Representative has been arranging meetings with other club leaders to learn more and to assist in the promotion of their events.
  • The Public Relations Representative has also been working on promoting Winter Destresser event.
    • Events Rep.
  • The Events Represenative has been helping with conducting interviews for the Senate.
  • The Events Represenative executed and promoted the last event of Fall quarter – Winter De-Stress
  • The Events Represenative has also been working on planning for future events for Winter quarter.
    • Social Responsibility Rep.
  • The Social Responsibility Representative has been helping with conducting interviews for the Senate.
  • The The Social Responsibility Representative has also been with students on sustainability initiatives
  • The The Social Responsibility Representative has also been working on promoting SESF committee to make it more popular for students
  • The The Social Responsibility Representative has also been working on brainstorming ideas for events and activities for next quarter to increase student engagement on campus.

  1. Approval of club charters

i.    Jewish Student Union (rechartering an inactive club)

2. Approval for proposed ASG Bylaws changes

  • The changes includes the additional of Board Bills for keeping track of what we have done inn the past and in the future.Sienna motions, Daniel seconds, motion passes by (7-0-1)
  • Sean Behl abstains.

3. ASG Fall and Winter quarter events funding in the amount of $20,000

  • Funds will be for 3 events in the future Winter quarter.
  • Joyce motions, Heidi seconds, motion passes by (7-0-1)
  • Sienna Jarrard abstains.

4. Approval of United Nation Association Club funding request for $44,493.50

  • Funds for a trip of 22 (20 students and 2 advisors) to New York to attend conference.Daniel motions, Joyce seconds, motion passes by (6-0-2).
  • Stephanie Nehema and Joyce Diakubama abstain.
