Cocoon Float Pods is a five star upscale float studio located in Bellevue / Factoria currently looking to fulfill part-time positions as Float Facilitators. We are looking for candidates who can work Saturday’s and weeknights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) typically from 4pm-10pm to close the studio. Daytime hours are not available.

This position will be responsible for ensuring customers have the best possible experience while maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the facility. As a float facilitator, you will be providing an experience and benefits which cannot be obtained in any other way! Float Therapy is truly unique. Although it was invented over 60 years ago, the mainstream population knows very little about it. It is therefore very important for the staff to be knowledgeable about the process and various benefits while being able to deliver instructions clearly and confidently.

While it is not important for you to have floated before, it is important that you are interested in learning more about it, believe in the benefits of floating, and have the desire to float on a regular basis. This will help you be knowledgeable on floating and allow you to relate to customers as well as make recommendations that will positively affect their experiences. Of course, floating is free for employees and is an amazing perk of the job!

Duties:
Greeting customers at the front desk as they check in and check out
Answering the phone
Utilizing our online appointment software to schedule, check-in/check-out customers, and process payments
Product and service sales – offering memberships and other float package options
Conducting customer orientations in float rooms and answer all of their questions
Run floats per client’s request (music / silence / time filtration on & off )
Cleaning and restocking float rooms between appointments-paying close attention to our strict hygiene standards!
Cleaning and organizing front desk area, utilities room, common areas, treatment rooms
Operating a washer and dryer/folding towels
Vacuuming / cleaning floors
Pool chemistry (will train)
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
Fluent in English, strong oral and written communication skills
2 years customer service and/or retail sales experience
Professional demeanor and appearance
Have an interest in natural health and knowledge of alternative methods of healing
Inviting and personable, enthusiastic and motivated!
Must enjoy talking to, helping, and meeting new people
Weekend and evening availability required!
Experienced with computers and social media.

Description:

My name is Kristina, and I am the sole owner and operator of an off-leash dog walking business. I pick up and transport 10 dogs to Marymoor Park’s off-leash dog area, every mid-day, to run, play, swim and socialize. I am looking for a trustworthy, reliable and mature, dog-loving person who enjoys working Outdoors, to help me take care of and love these puppies, a couple hours a day. There will be on-the-job training, but applicants with dog-handling experience preferred, (even if the experience comes from handling your own dog). You also must provide your own transportation to Marymoor Park in Redmond, and be available middays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays for a couple hours. The working hours vary slightly could be as early as 11:30-1:30, but generally will be from 1 pm to 3 pm. I have a little flexibility with this for your scheduling. This can be a physically demanding job! Very different from taking a leashed dog around the block. Please be prepared to chase down or run with dogs, hop a fence to help get a dog or ball back, help with lifting/boosting dogs (up to 100 lbs) up into the car, leashing and wrangling dogs back to the car.
