Description:
Athena Coding is an afterschool enrichment provider for grades K-6 seeking a part-time instructor to teach Chess and/or Music Production classes this fall for kids at a recreation center in Redmond.
Instructor must be available every Thursday afternoons, starting November 6. The program will run for six weeks.
What you'll do:
• Lead a class of 5-15 children in a structured, engaging session with the provided lesson plans and materials.
• Teach your subject (either Chess or Music Production) in a fun, exploratory way.
What we're looking for:
• No in-depth knowledge of the subject is needed- we highly prefer someone who has worked with children such as tutoring, teaching or babysitting.
• Good communication skills and a passion for working with kids.
• CPR/First Aid/BLS certified is a plus.
