Job Summary
Do you have the energy, rhythm, and creativity to get kids moving? The North Kirkland Community Center is looking for a fun and inspiring Hip Hop Instructor to lead dance classes for ages 5-11!
What You'll Do:
Plan and teach upbeat, age-appropriate hip hop classes
Create a safe, fun, and inclusive class environment
Communicate effectively with both kids and parents
Encourage confidence, coordination, and creativity through dance
What You Bring:
Solid knowledge of hip hop and youth dance styles
Creative, flexible teaching style
Experience working with children ages 5-11
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Hours of Work:
Classes start September 2025. Wednesday afternoon/evenings at the North Kirkland Community Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have 6 months of related teaching experience.
Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification by start date.
Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
