This Gala is your chance to come together and celebrate in style. Dress to impress as we transform the ballroom into a mesmerizing setting that captures the elegance and grandeur of the night. It’s an opportunity to mingle, create lasting memories, and have an absolute blast with your fellow students.

🍽️ Delectable Delights: Indulge in a sumptuous feast prepared by our talented team of servers. Delight your taste buds with a variety of delicious food throughout the evening.
🎶 Groove to the Beats: Our incredible DJ will keep the energy high, playing an amazing selection of music to keep you on your feet all night long. Dance the night away and let the rhythm move you!
🌟 Talent Showcase: Showcase your skills and talents during our special performances. Whether you’re a singer, dancer, or have any other hidden talent, this is your moment to shine.
🏆 Recognizing Excellence: We will be hosting an award show to honor outstanding achievements by students. If you know someone who deserves recognition in categories like leadership, creativity, or community service, don’t miss the chance to nominate them. ASG GALA NOMINATION FYI
During the Gala we will also present the “Person of the Year Award”. Students can vote for the following categories: Student Employee of the Year; Club of the Year; Event of the Year; Program of the Year; Affinity Coordinator of the Year; Club Advisor of the Year; Sports Team of the Year; Student Athlete of the Year;
Resident Assistant of the Year; Staff Member of the Year; Faculty of the Year.
There are a few rules:
1. No campaigning is allowed. If a student, faculty, or staff members campaigns to be voted they will be immediately disqualified. This is supposed to be a spontaneous vote.
2. If a student, faculty, staff member presents misleading information they will be immediately disqualified.
Student employee nominees must be a current student employee. ALL current student employees are running for this and can be voted.
3. Sorry, but you cannot vote on yourself. We will not count those votes.
4. Advisor. This can be confusing because we have admission advisors. academic advisors, and club advisors. On Club advisor of the year, you can put a CLUB Advisor. We will only count those votes. If you want to nominate an academic or admission advisor, they should be nominated as Staff member of the Year.
5. If you nominate more than one person, we will only count the first person nominated. Voting is open until 11:59 pm May 25, 2023.
