55-minute Documentary film: “Black Girl in Suburbia” by Melissa Lowery

This is a documentary that looks into the experiences of black girls growing up in predominately White communities.
There will be a 2-hour panel discussion lead by “The Root of US”, a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant group, to discuss the meaning of the documentary. Following the panel discussion, there will be break out rooms to discuss topics on a deeper level.
