Position Summary
We are looking for a passionate IT Support technician to support Shelter Holdings. This unique position seeks to provide the front end IT support for our end users with a focus on timely problem resolution and customer service. This position requires a technician from the Bellevue corporate office while working periodically from Everett and Renton offices.
Responsibilities
Working with Systems Administrators and IT Manager this position is responsible for the day to day front end IT support for Shelter Holdings and family of companies. Which includes but is not limited to:
Managing IT helpdesk ticket Queue & act as primary contact in responding to end-user needs in a prompt and professional manner.
Provide on-site & remote technical assistance for computer systems, software, hardware, answer technical questions, and escalate issues as appropriate.
Process any adds, removes, or changes to staff accounts on the various company systems.
Provision, Troubleshoot, & Repair end user devices (Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, & Printers)
Documenting IT processes and changes as needed.
Assist Systems Administrators and IT Manager with projects as needed.
Train users on best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Desired
Excellent with verbal and written communication.
Excellent troubleshooting skills & technical problem solving.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Assist in research and procurement of computer equipment and supplies.
Comfortable troubleshooting an end user’s devices remotely.
Fluent with Windows operating systems Windows 10/11.
Familiarity with basic LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP Troubleshooting.
Microsoft active directory account management
Basic IP phone configuration.
Basic knowledge and practical usage of Networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
Systems troubleshooting and connectivity issues
Microsoft Office O365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Experience
1-2 years IT experience
Education
High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
Other
Drivers license and reliable transportation required.
May need to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
