Description:
Eastside Pathways is seeking a part-time Summer Intern to help coordinate the convening of our Youth Council, a space for young people across East King County to come together, build community, and drive systems change. This is a great opportunity to grow your leadership, event coordination, and community-building skills while contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Key Details
Hours: Approximately 5–6 hours/week
Mondays (July 14 – August 25, 2025), 1–5 PM – Youth Council Program (in person)
30–60 min/week – Planning meeting with Executive Director
1 hour/week – Program prep
Additional hours required for Presentation Day
Location: Hybrid (in-person at our Bellevue office + virtual)
Hourly Rate: $27/hr
Reports To: Executive Director
Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events for the Youth Council
Communicate with youth participants
Support planning, logistics, and execution of weekly sessions
Assist with preparation for final presentations and celebration day
Qualifications
Interest in youth leadership, community engagement, and event coordination
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working with both in-person and virtual tools
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a police background check
