$20/hr — Part-time Paid Intern at Medical Device Company

Job Description:
A part-time, temporary role at an exciting orthopedic medical device start-up. Requires basic computer skills, hands-on product testing, clerical duties, a high level of attention to detail, careful following of instructions, a team-oriented approach, and the ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities as needed.

Position Overview:
This individual will get to experience a growing medical device company while helping in the office as needed. In addition to performing a variety of duties, there is opportunity to learn about the medical device field and what life is like in a growing start-up.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assist R&D department with hands on product testing per written protocols. Recording and organization of data for test reports.
2. Assist Quality and Regulatory department with clerical work, data entry, receiving inspections.
3. Assist Operations department with packaging and shipment preparation.

Education, Qualifications, & Skills:
• High school diploma
• Current college enrollment preferred
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and ability to learn new programs
• Interpersonal requirements include strong attention to detail, flexibility/adaptability, good communication skills, and ability to work with multiple office members.
• Must provide 2 references from previous work, school, or non-family personal (e.g. coach)

Location and Schedule:
Candidate must be in the vicinity of Bellevue, Washington as the candidate will be expected to work in office with occasional remote opportunities. Flexible hours Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Salary Range:
• Part-time (10-20 hrs/week), temporary to end of 2024.
• Hourly wage $20/hr
