Lakehaven Water and Sewer District has an immediate opening for an IT Applications Technician in our Finance/IT/GIS Department.
An IT Applications Technician is a valuable asset to Lakehaven Water and Sewer District’s daily operation. This position creates, installs, and maintains, computer and web applications, modifies applications to meet the specific needs of the District or individual users, and plays a primary role in selecting or recommending software applications based on user needs. An IT Applications Technician is responsible for the support of software applications, included but not limited to, utility management, budget and accounting, payroll, work order/maintenance management, database, report writing, and various in-house applications; and provides application-related training, technical support, and troubleshooting assistance.

The successful candidate should have high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as a degree and/or certifications in application development, database development or web development which demonstrate competency.
