$26/hr — Part-time (afternoon) nanny job

Description:

We are a family of four living in Issaquah for five years looking for afternoon care for our son (6 y.o. entering 1st grade), and our daughter (2 y.o. entering daycare). Both parents work full-time so we’d like to find a nanny/babysitter with at least 2-3 years of childcare experience who can care for the children in the hours after school.

Responsibilities include:
– Provide attentive and nurturing care for the children, prioritizing safety and well-being
– Engage in age-appropriate activities to promote development, such as reading, playing, and walks
– Light meal preparation for the children
– For the toddler, feeding support and diaper changes
– Tidying up from their activities with them (no expectation of doing laundry or housekeeping)

Requirements:
– Enjoyment spending time with children, with an interest in their growth and development.
– Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car for transportation.
– First Aid/CPR certified
– Non-smoker

Proposed schedule:
• Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 3:30-6:00 PM
• Weds (early school dismissal) 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $26 per hour, paid weekly
