About Chef Julio Ortiz:

The owner of the Twisted Cuban Café, Julio Ortiz, was born and raised in Havana, Cuba.  He came to the United States when he was 24 years old and started working in the restaurant industry.  He has owned and operated The Twisted Café since 2009. The Cuban sandwich became the most popular menu item, so after much encouragement from existing clientele he decided to convert The Twisted Café sandwich shop into a full service restaurant called Twisted Cuban Café & Bar serving authentic Cuban food with many of the recipes handed down from his mother.
