International Education Week at Bellevue College, November 14th – 18th
The U.S. Department of State says, “International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.”
At Bellevue College, International Education Week gives us an opportunity to highlight our international education initiatives and learning opportunities and to offer some fun and educational activities for students, staff and faculty.
International Education Week 2022 Objectives:
• To highlight the international education initiatives at Bellevue College
• To celebrate the diversity of our community of students, staff and faculty at Bellevue College
• To invite community partners to share opportunities for international impact and involvement
• To share stories and experiences related to international education and study abroad
What kind of activities are involved with International Education Week?:
• Student organizations-led activities that educate fellow students, staff and faculty about their culture and organizations and to promote opportunities for involvement
• Student initiated presentations and activities that promote study abroad and international learning
• Scholarly and professional presentations about topics that relate to international education and international learning
If I want to get involved, how do I contribute?
• You can contact anyone on the IEW Planning Committee and express interest in contributing, discuss your ideas and find ways to be part of International Education Week now and/or in the future
• You can learn about activities as they are being planned and take part in joining forces on an activity that relates to your area of interest
• You can submit recipes, photos and community or cultural links or resources to be added to the IEW website by emailing them to Bradley Huggins at b.huggins@bellevuecollege.edu all through International Education Week.
