<\/a><\/p>\nI\u00a0am an accountant\/administrator and business owner since 1977. The Telos program has allowed me to expand my knowledge and after 3 years of attending classes I have found my tribe! I would like others to have this same opportunity.\u00a0 I would like to keep Telos vibrant, engaging, available and affordable to all.\u00a0 The challenge will be to grow the program and still maintain the community flavor.\u00a0 I hope to serve, as the President, of the Council and maintain a collaborative atmosphere.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/h1>\nI am a semi-retired 45 yr. trial lawyer, retired Colonel, with interests in current affairs, politics and history. I have greatly enjoyed Telos classes and events.\u00a0 I put my skills to use since spring of 2014, along with a small team, in negotiating a number of items, including tuition reductions with BC. We substantially improved the TSO and TELOS student relationship with the administration.. I also would like to help keep this great academic community program vibrant and\u00a0grow it substantially<\/p>\n

Quality instructors and student affiliates, many of whom have much to share in this stimulating environment, are cream of the crop. It\u2019s so easy to promote this vital program to outsiders. \u00a0I\u2019d like to serve as Secretary another year.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Nancy Rogers<\/span>. My husband Gary and I moved to the area 20 months ago from North Carolina to be closer to our grands. I love this part of the world with all it’s diversity, beauty and educational opportunities.Telos has been a life saver for me. It challenged me to get out and about and learn our new surroundings. I would like to see Telos become a more diverse community that represents all the cultural gifts this area provides.<\/p>\nKathy Shoemaker<\/span>. \u00a0Lifelong learning, lifetime friends’ says it all for me. Alex Sytman<\/span>. \u00a0I am a retired cardiologist educated at the UW medical School class of 1963. Between 1963 and 1970 I had 5 more years of training and two years with the 4th Division\u00a0including 9 months in Viet Nam (1966-1967).
\nI practiced Cardiology at Providence & Swedish Hospital from 1970 to 2010. Most recent office practice was at Minor & James Clinic. I held a number of Medical Staff positions including some stints as chairman of cardiology and Chief of Staff at Providence during those years.
\nThis is my probably fourth year at Telos. It’s been a real pleasure interacting with the intellectually active retired community.
