We do this by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Exposing students to different aspects of Japanese culture \u2013 not just what is seen in movies, TV, and social media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building improved personal and community relationships through a better understanding of Japan\u2019s rich culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offering a meeting place for the community at large to learn about, observe, and participate in Japan-related educational and cultural activities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Featuring local artists and talent. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in and a wider appreciation of the history, arts, and crafts of Japan. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to a forum for the continuation and practice of Japanese art forms performed by traditional artists and artisans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing a \u201cJapanese Style\u201d community event for the benefit of students, staff, and community members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What our students will gain from this project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participation in and a wider appreciation of the history, arts, and crafts of Japan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to a forum for the continuation and practice of Japanese art forms performed by traditional artists and artisans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \u201cJapanese Style\u201d community event for the benefit of students, staff, and community members.
