Athena Coding is an afterschool enrichment provider for children ages 7-12 seeking enthusiastic part-time instructors to teach fun, hands-on classes this winter session at a private elementary school in Bellevue.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re currently hiring for two programs \u2014 applicants may teach one or both classes depending on interest and availability; we may consider partial availability.<\/p>\n
Junior Alchemists: Chemistry for Kids \u2013 Tuesdays, 3:00\u20134:30 PM (December to March 2026)<\/p>\n
Hollywood Filmmaking \u2013 Fridays, 3:00\u20134:30 PM (December to March 2026)<\/p>\n
What you'll do:
\n\u2022 Lead a class of 5\u201315 children in a structured, engaging session with the provided lesson plans and materials.
\n\u2022 Teach fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
\n\u2022 Encourage teamwork, exploration, and confidence-building in every session.<\/p>\n
What we're looking for:
\n\u2022 Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, etc.) preferred.
\n\u2022 No specific subject expertise required \u2014 just enthusiasm and reliability.
\n\u2022 Good communication skills and a passion for working with kids.
\n\u2022 CPR\/First Aid\/BLS certification is required (or willingness to obtain before starting).<\/p>\n
