We\u2019re looking for a kind, patient person to work with our 6-year-old daughter on early reading skills using a structured, evidence-based program (All About Reading).<\/p>\n
The lessons are fully scripted\u2014no teaching experience needed. You\u2019ll simply follow clear, step-by-step instructions and help her stay focused and confident as she learns to read.<\/p>\n
Schedule:
\n\t\u2022\t3\u20134 mornings per week at 7:00 a.m. (sessions last 45 minutes)
\n\t\u2022\tWe can substitute Wednesday 2:00 p.m. for one of the morning sessions if that fits your schedule better
\n\t\u2022\tPrefer weekdays, but weekends are also possible
\n\t\u2022\tWe live in College Hill, about 5 minutes from Bellevue College<\/p>\n
You\u2019d be a great fit if you:
\n\t\u2022\tEnjoy working with young kids and have a calm, encouraging style
\n\t\u2022\tCan follow detailed instructions and keep lessons on track
\n\t\u2022\tAre reliable, punctual, and available for consistent early-morning sessions
\n\t\u2022\tHave experience babysitting, tutoring, or working with children (education or child development background is a plus, not required)<\/p>\n
Pay: $25\u2013$35\/hour depending on experience<\/p>\n
