Job Summary
\nDo you have the energy, rhythm, and creativity to get kids moving? The North Kirkland Community Center is looking for a fun and inspiring Hip Hop Instructor to lead dance classes for ages 5-11!<\/p>\n
What You'll Do:
\nPlan and teach upbeat, age-appropriate hip hop classes
\nCreate a safe, fun, and inclusive class environment
\nCommunicate effectively with both kids and parents
\nEncourage confidence, coordination, and creativity through dance<\/p>\n
What You Bring:
\nSolid knowledge of hip hop and youth dance styles
\nCreative, flexible teaching style
\nExperience working with children ages 5-11
\nStrong communication and classroom management skills<\/p>\n
Hours of Work:
\nClasses start September 2025. Wednesday afternoon\/evenings at the North Kirkland Community Center.<\/p>\n
\nMinimum Qualifications:
\nMust have 6 months of related teaching experience.
\nMust have or be able to obtain First Aid\/CPR certification by start date.
\nMust successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child\/Adult Abuse Information Act.
\nMust be at least 18 years of age.<\/p>\n
