Down with the Man!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Almost though persuades even me to be a worm!<\/p>\n<p>But much merchandise from dens of toil<br \/>\nBetrays you, annotates you, clutters your margins:<br \/>\nCoat and cardigan, slacks and socks and sneakers;<br \/>\nConditioner, shampoo, blow-drier, iron,<br \/>\nBases, creams, make-up and gloss\u2014<br \/>\nHow these do emboss your Hollywood stature!<br \/>\nCombs and brushes, bottles and sprays<br \/>\nFor the day\u2019s grooming, scenting, teasing\u2014<br \/>\nYou make The Man grin as you call the sheep<br \/>\nFrom your pasture, the Capitol lawn. Speak your bane,<br \/>\nYou stylish, fragrant comrade forecasting pain.<\/p>\n<p>Cozy up to your vanity, the mirror you face before<br \/>\nFacing the cameras, censor the profits on capitol grounds,<br \/>\nAnd wag that sparkling finger at me watching you<br \/>\nFrom the bedroom side of my brand new plasma TV.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m down with you.
