ASG Officers 2023-2024

ASG President: Sean Behl

Hello everyone, my name is Sean Behl and this is my third year at Bellevue College. Last year I served as the ASG Secretary, and this year I will be serving as your ASG President. I am currently studying Civil Engineering, with plans to transfer to the University of Washington next year. I am very passionate about student participation in college decision making and ensuring that students’ voices are being represented and heard adequately throughout all levels of the college. I am very excited to serve the student body this year and look forward to working with the rest of my board to make changes that will positively impact both current and future Bellevue College students. 

ASG Vice President: Rebecca Mbaka

My name is Rebecca Mbaka. I am currently a junior Digital Marketing student. I am from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This year I will be serving as your ASG Vice-President, previously I served as the ASG President for the 2022-2023 academic year, the Vice President of Scholarships of Phi Theta Kappa, the Black Student Union’s social media manager, and a tutor at the academic success center. My passion is helping others in any way I can, and my objective as a student at Bellevue College is to help improve the student experience and promote positive change.

ASG Executive Justice: Daniel Ngoy

I’m Daniel Ngoy, I come from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). I’m currently studying business analysis and technology. I hold the position of ASG Executive Justice, where my role revolves around ensuring fairness and equity in our student community.
Beyond my academic and administrative endeavours, my passion for helping people is the driving force behind my active engagement in the college community. There’s something incredibly rewarding about connecting with people and inspiring a positive change.

ASG Treasurer: Heidi Ngo

Hello, my name is Heidi Ngo, and I am your new ASG treasurer. I am a currently running start student and this upcoming year will be my second year at Bellevue College. I wanted to join ASG because I wanted to be involved and be a voice for the students at Bellevue College! Outside of ASG I actively participate in extracurricular activities at my school and volunteer weekly at my church! I am super excited to serve as your ASG treasurer for the 2023-2024 school year! 

ASG Secretary: Julie Nguyen

Hi everyone, my name is Tran, I usually go by Julie. I’m from Vietnam. This is my 4th year here in Bellevue College, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Management & Analysis. Fun fact: I don’t read books and it can take up to a year for me to finish one. I look forward to work with ASG team to listen and improve students’ life experience here at Bellevue College

ASG Events Rep.: Sienna Jarrard

Hi! I’m Sienna Jarrard and I’m a Running Start student from Bellevue. I’m hoping to graduate with an AAS this spring. I’m very excited to be a part of ASG and gather student input to host the best events. A fun fact about me is I have a Harry Potter-esque scar on my forehead. 

ASG Emerging Tech Rep.: Isadora Silva

Hey there! I’m Isadora, a Software Development student from Brazil. I’m in my second year at BC, and I’m passionate about this community. My goal is to collaborate as a team to enhance student life and make technology accessible to everyone!

ASG Public Relations Rep.: Joyce Diakubama

I’m Joyce, a computer science student from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I’m in my second year at BC and I’m really passionate about our community. I’m the Public Relations Representative, working to make campus life better and more welcoming for everyone! I am excited to meet you all!

ASG Social Responsibility Rep.: Stephanie Nehema

Hey there! I’m Stephanie Nehema, your friendly ASG Social Responsibility Rep. this year. I am  from the heart of the Democratic Republic of Congo! I speak English, French, Lingala and Swahili. I am all about socializing and community  building. This is my second year at Bellevue College and I am very excited to start this new year being able to work for students to have a memorable experience at BC. With the amazing team this year I am ready to connect with anyone, anywhere. A fun fact about me is that I find baby cries strangely hilarious – it’s my quirky side!
