On December 3rd (Saturday), the CS club is holding a 12 hour Hackathon on-campus in room N201 and we invite students from all majors and disciplines to join. A hackathon is best described as an “invention marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends a hackathon to learn, build and share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t have to be majoring in CS.
We’re looking to break the common misconception that a hackathon is only for “CS majors” and will be accepting students from both tech and non-tech backgrounds equally.
This is going to be the first ever hackathon at Bellevue College, and we’re looking to have as many people join us this December as possible. Food and gifts will be provided to all participants for the entire day and joining is 100% free for any student or faculty member. You can visit our website for more information: www.BCHacks.com
